REMOS AIRCRAFT ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Pasewalk, Germany – Lorenz Kreitmayr, founder and CEO of REMOS Aircraft has stepped down from his responsibilities as head of the manufacturing operations of one of the worlds leading sport aircraft. He has been replaced by a team of managing directors, Dr. Frank Doring, who heads up the factory operations, and Michael Meirer, who is in charge of REMOS activities in the United States. The announcement was made by the principle investor in REMOS, Eberhard Farber.
Kreitmayr will maintain an active role with the company as a consultant and advisor.
The change is consistent with the emerging goals of REMOS Aircraft, said Farber. Lorenz established a reputation for the company for reliability and the incorporation of new technology. He oversaw the refinement of the G3 and put together an excellent team of technicians and designers. Dr. Doring and Mr. Meirer will take the company to the next level in manufacturing and marketing.
REMOS, which recently moved into new facilities in Pasewalk, has been consolidating its aircraft assembly procedures, and is now focusing efforts on modernized production methods. The expectation is to achieve an annual production rate of 200 aircraft.
