Bethany, OK – Recognizing the escalating popularity of REMOS Sport Aircraft, Southern Wings Aircraft has, for the first time in 41 years, made a commitment to stock, sell and service new airplanes along with their successful line of used aircraft. They recently signed a dealership agreement with REMOS Aircraft and have placed their first copy on their new 12,000 square foot showroom floor.

Tony Plant, and his father, Randy, who founded Southern Wings Aircraft, plan an aggressive marketing campaign in Oklahoma and the surrounding states. We were told by a representative of the FAA in Oklahoma City, that the future for Sport Aircraft is very bright, said Tony Plant. We really like the benefits associated with REMOS ownership and anticipate that a lot of customers will share our enthusiasm for this aircraft. We anticipate equipping most of them with lights for night flying and quite a few with IFR panels. They are a very competitive design against the high cost of new machines from the big three. At the same time they represent much newer technology and pilot friendly operational characteristics.

REMOS is a two-place, high wing, composite aircraft, with a predominance of carbon fiber in the structure. It was designed and is manufactured in Germany to standards that exceed the FAAs recent LSA category.
