Pasewalk, Germany – REMOS Aircraft has leased a new factory facility in Germany with intentions of consolidating and expanding production activity. Previously, the aircraft were assembled in Bavaria with components coming in from a number of sources, including Poland. REMOS is now the only aircraft designed and manufactured exclusively in Germany. According the REMOS USA representative, Michael Meirer, the new, 33,000 square feet of operations will allow REMOS to manufacture up to 80 aircraft in 2007 with higher efficiencies and refined craftsmanship.

REMOS expects to employ 40 people by the end of 2006 and will increase that number to about 100 by the end of 2007. Response in Europe and, most recently, in the United States has been so positive that we are anticipating escalating demand for the aircraft and making sure we can respond to sales, said Meirer.

The REMOS, a high wing, Sport Aircraft, offers unique styling and performance through the use of carbon fiber and other composites that permit compound curves and a durable structure. The cockpit width of 46.8 allows for big and tall pilots who find entry and egress superior to other sport aircraft designs. Wings on the REMOS fold the aircraft into the smallest aircraft package currently available as a sport aircraft.

According to REMOS investor Eberhard Farber: After distributing hundreds of aircraft in Europe, we have turned our focus to the United States where we perceive an excellent market that we can grow into with the superb management team weve assembled to produce this fine aircraft.
